LAST MINUTE FESTIVAL
SAT – Head to the Waterfront for the Festival of the Last Minute offers locally handcrafted one-of-a-kind items.

OLD TOWN MARKET
SAT – The Old Town Holiday Market features artisan crafts and unique gifts highlighting the Holiday Season.  

HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
SAT-SUN – The Renegade Craft Show offers a cozy holiday shopping atmosphere with over 100 artists showcasing their work.  

THE PEPPERMINT BEAR SHOW
SAT-SUN – Lakewood Theatre Company presents their annual Holiday Magic Breakfast Theatre Production. Watch a story unfold as a two-headed dragon tries to eat Santa’s Elves!

HOLIDAY MYSTERY
THROUGH SAT – When a priceless sapphire is stolen at the country house during Christmas, a female detective and her daughter solve the mystery.     

CHRISTMAS CAROLS
THROUGH SUN – Head downtown to listen to carolers give a final performance in Pioneer Courthouse Square for a prize during the Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition.  

SHIP PARADE
THROUGH SUN – The Columbia River and the Willamette River will host over 50 decorated boats during the Christmas Ships Parade.   

DONUTS & DANCING
SUN – Make take-home decorations and take part in dancing at the Mittleman Jewish Community Center in a family-friendly Chanukah celebration.     

FAMILY SKATING NIGHT
MON – Join Sores and the Kollel for a family night of roller-skating at Oaks Park! Celebrate Chanukah with themed crafts, activities, and delicious donuts!

CHANUKAH AT THE MODA CENTER
MON – Celebrate Chanukah Jewish Heritage Night at the Moda Center with the Portland Trailblazers! Watch the Menorah lighting on the Jumbotron, and watch the Blazers take on the Pelicans!

WWII EXPERIENCES
ONGOING – The Oregon Historical Society hosts the stories of African American experiences serving in World War II. Thousands of African Americans rushed to enlist with the intention of serving the nation that rated them as second-class citizens. They were determined to fight to preserve the freedom that they themselves have been denied. This is their story.

VICTORIAN BELLE CHRISTMAS
THROUGH DEC 28 – The Victorian Belle mansion sits on display on 2.5 acres. View millions of lights, decorated rooms, a train display, and musical performances.       

THE CHRISTMAS TRAIN
THROUGH DEC 29 – Take a scenic train ride along the Columbia River to Christmas Town. Visit with Santa and his elves while enjoying cookies and hot cocoa.

LIGHTS AT THE GROTTO
THROUGH DEC 30 – The Christmas Festival of Lights features a walk among a display of lights, carolers, choirs, and a Petting Zoo at the Grotto.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TRAIL
THROUGH DEC 31 – Maddax Woods in West Linn offers a well-lit path of holiday lights in the woods. Search for 50 animal sculptures on a self-guided walk through a lighted wonderland.

DRIVE THROUGH LIGHTS
THROUGH JAN 4 – Head to the Portland International Raceway on a cold night to view a majestic display of lights, featuring over 250 displays.

A PITTOCK MANSION CHRISTMAS
THROUGH JAN 5 – Take a stroll back in time at the Pittock family mansion while viewing professionally decorated rooms designed for the holidays.

CHRISTMAS IN THE GARDEN
THROUGH JAN 5 – Over 1 million lights, festive music, and warm fires offer a Christmas Market, and Santa at the Oregon Garden in Silverton with ice skating, tubing, and a fun pass.  

VANCOUVER METRO EVENTS

FRIDAY FUN NIGHT
FRI – Register for a fun-filled night with kids activities ranging from pin the nose on Rudolph, snowball tag, stocking relay race, capture the snowman, time in the jungle, and a gymnastics room. Come in from the cold and explore all the family-friendly activities!  

RAILROAD FINALE
FRI-SUN  – Take one of the last rides of the year on the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad Steam Train and see Santa! Head to the village where Santa has a gift for each child, and enjoy cider or cocoa, coffee, and cookies.

THE NUTCRACKER
FRI-SUN  – The Vancouver School of Arts and Academics presents performances of The Nutcracker. Fort Vancouver also holds a performance of the beloved tale of The Nutcracker.

MENORAH LIGHTING
SAT – Celebrate the lighting of the Menorah in Propstra Square at Esther Short Park. Enjoy live music, sip hot cocoa, and munch on donuts. Stick around for the Grand Gelt drop, showering spectators with coins.
