WINE FESTIVAL
Join us for the 12th annual Kitsap Wine Festival benefiting the Downtown Bremerton Association. Taste wines from over 14 wineries and sample local northwest cuisine.


BLUEBERRIES
Head to the U-Pick fields this weekend for fresh blueberries in Auburn. Enjoy a picnic by the water after picking berries at the Higher Taste Blueberry Farm.  


SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
Enjoy a summer of free family fun in the park with Shakespeare in the Park, showcasing “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and the “Twelfth Night” followed by “The Tempest” now through Aug 14th.  


SUNFLOWERS
View Sunflowers at local farms around town. Head to the sunflower festival in Buckley, Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm Sunflower experience in Snohomish, and the Thomas Farm Sunflower Festival.  


BATTLE OF THE BOWS
Tacoma Battle Games: Battle of the Bows is a fun outdoor activity for youths and adults in which two groups engage in mock archery combat using padded tipped arrows.

Check out the virtual county fair, celebrating Port Townsend and the community.

 

MOVIES IN THE PARK
Join us in Seneca Plaza Friday evenings in August to watch films on the big screen in the heart of the city. Raffle, Popcorn, and Surprises at 7:30pm. The movie starts at 8:30pm.


FARMERS MARKET
Shop local farmer’s markets for a wide variety of produce. Head to Federal Way, Lakewood Farmer’s Market, West Seattle, Fremont Farmer’s, Madrona Market.

PACIFIC NW CHALK FEST
It’s time for the annual PNW ChalkFest! This event attracts people from all over the western U.S. who can’t wait to see the sidewalk masterpieces created by local and not-so-local artists. Additionally, Redmond Town Center provides the perfect location for the artists and the audience to experience the event in style.


BOAT RENTALS
The Center for Wooden Boats is offering free peapod rowboat rentals. One and all are encouraged to reserve a boat to paddle around Lake Union. These boats can hold up to five people and are perfect for rowers of all experience levels.


STORYBOOK IN THE PARK
Studio East is staging The Boy Who Cried Wolf (presented by Google) at Juanita Beach Park this weekend. Shepherd-boy Sam is tired of watching sheep all day and wants some excitement in his life.


MOVIES AT THE MURAL
Experience movies outdoors at Seattle Center again this summer. Picnic on the gently sloping Mural Amphitheatre lawn, in front of a state-of-the-art 40-foot screen, with the Space Needle looming above.
