ART FESTIVAL

Head to the Anacortes Arts Festival to view booth artisans, jazz and main stages, two beer and wine gardens, food trucks and vendors, a kids discovery area, artists demonstrating their craft


BLUEBERRIES
Head to the U-Pick fields this weekend for fresh blueberries in Auburn. Enjoy a picnic by the water after picking berries at the Higher Taste Blueberry Farm.  


SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK
Enjoy a summer of free family fun in the park with Shakespeare in the Park, showcasing “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and the “Twelfth Night” followed by “The Tempest” now through Aug 14th.  


SUNFLOWERS
View Sunflowers at local farms around town. Head to the sunflower festival in Buckley, Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm Sunflower experience in Snohomish, and the Thomas Farm Sunflower Festival.

Seafair Weekend Festival is committed to uniting and celebrating all of Seattle’s diverse communities by offering affordable fun and activities where differences are welcomed, and every individual feels a sense of belonging to make memories that last a lifetime.


MAGNOLIA SUMMERFEST
The Magnolia Festival offers live music, food, kids’ activities, craft vendors, and a huge parade. 75 craft vendors, 15 food vendors, and a dozen inflatables for the kids. music includes the kids’ talent show up through big regional acts.

CHILDREN’S MATINEE
Every Friday you’ll find a family-friendly movie geared to parents, nannies, grandparents, and caregivers. The sound will be turned down and you’re welcome to bring a stroller, feed your baby, let your baby fuss, cry, or coo; no one will mind! Although these screenings are open to everyone, this program is designed for new parents to get out of the house and enjoy a movie with their infants. 


BOAT RENTALS
The Center for Wooden Boats is offering free peapod rowboat rentals. One and all are encouraged to reserve a boat to paddle around Lake Union. These boats can hold up to five people and are perfect for rowers of all experience levels.


MOVIES AT THE MURAL
Experience movies outdoors at Seattle Center again this summer. Picnic on the gently sloping Mural Amphitheatre lawn, in front of a state-of-the-art 40-foot screen, with the Space Needle looming above. Then sit back to enjoy The Farewell and The Wiz.
